Run With Parkinson's Community

You Are Not
Running Alone.

This is more than a nonprofit. It's a pack. Runners, supporters, caregivers, and advocates moving together — every mile, every day.

This is more than a running club. It's the place where a diagnosis stops being a sentence and starts being a starting line. Where a caregiver finds others who understand. Where a 71-year-old trains for his first 10K and discovers he's not as alone as he thought. This is the pack.

They Kept Moving Too

Real people. Real diagnoses. Real miles.

“I was diagnosed 3 years ago and thought my moving days were over. Dan’s story showed me otherwise. I finished my first 5K last spring. I cried at the finish line.”

Robert M., 64

Living with Parkinson’s since 2022

“Movement gave me back something Parkinson’s tried to take. Not just my stride — my confidence. This community is my pack. I don’t run alone anymore.”
M

Maria K., 58

Runner, advocate, community member

“My neurologist actually told me to keep moving. Run With Parkinson’s gave me the courage to believe I could. I’m training for a 10K right now.”
J

James T., 71

First 10K in training — age 71

“I’m a caregiver, not a patient — but this community welcomed me like family. I walk in honor of my husband, who has Parkinson’s. He cheers me on every step.”
S

Sarah W., 52

Caregiver & community member

“I never moved like this before my diagnosis. Now I do a 5K walk every Saturday morning with our local group. It changed how I see my condition — and myself.”
D

David L., 66

Living with Parkinson’s, finding his pace

“Dan’s story hit me like a starting gun. I signed up for my first virtual event the same day I found this organization. I’ve done four since then. I’m not stopping.”

You're Part of the Pack Too

Parkinson's doesn't just affect the person with the diagnosis. It changes the lives of every person who loves them. Spouses, children, siblings, friends — caregivers carry an enormous weight, often in silence.

This community is for you too. You don't need to be running (though running helps). You don't need to have Parkinson's. You need to show up — and this is a place where showing up counts.

We have dedicated spaces for caregivers in our community groups, and we actively work to ensure that the non-running members of our pack feel as welcomed and supported as anyone who logs their miles on Strava.
